Crane Variable-Frequency Drive

Variable-frequency Drive, VFD, is used to control AC motor by variable-frequency technology and microelectronic technology to control the power control equipment of AC motor through changing the motor-working power frequency. It helps the motor realize soft-start.

Crane variable frequency drive relies on the GBT to adjust the voltage and frequency of the output power supply, and supplies the power voltage according to the actual needs of the motor, thereby achieving the purpose of energy saving and speed regulation. In addition, the inverter has many protection functions, such as overcurrent, overvoltage, overload, etc.

1. Dust off the Variable frequency drive regularly (e.g. 3 months).

2. Open the front door of the VFD, disassemble the rear door, carefully check whether the AC and DC busbars are deformed, corroded, oxidized, whether the screws at the busbar joints are loose, and whether the screws take off.

3. Comprehensive inspection of input, rectification and inverter, DC input fast-melting, and replace the burning damage in time.

4, To check if the reactor have abnormal noise, vibration or odor.

5. Whether the fan running and rotating in the rectifier cabinet and the inverter cabinet are normal. When the machine is stopped, turn it by hand to observe whether the bearing is stuck or murmur, and replace if necessary.
