Single Girder Overhead Crane travels along 2 parallel rails on workshop supporting structure and its lifting mechanisms (electric hoists) travel along crane girder. Single girder Overhead Crane consists main girder, end girder, traveling mechanism, hoisting mechanism and electrical components. This single girder crane is usually used in long distance workshops and travels along the rails/tracks on both sidewalls.
This crane is a single girder type crane with traditional steel girder (I beam, H beam steel) or box-typed girder. The lifting capacity is usually not more than 20 tons. This type crane can be used in workshops, steel plants, hydro-power stations, warehouses, machine manufacturing plant, etc.
